August Favourites | 2016

Hello beautiful's! This month has been such a mad one, my health has been so up and down and not only that but I had the stressful time of moving home. Our new home is a beautiful two bed-roomed bungalow which I adore, it's just perfect, if you want to see little sneak peaks in my home then make sure you're following me on instagram. So that right there is my first favourite of the month but here are the best of them...

A couple of months back, I met up with the beautifully gorgeous Laura from Deciem to talk about their beauty collection. I was about to test out some products and generally have a lovely afternoon chatting and getting to know each other a little better. A couple of weeks after our meet up, Laura sent me some amazing products to try out and I have to admit everything she sent me was wonderful but the Hylamide HA Blur Prismatic Blurring Surface Finisher and the Hylamide Photography Foundation are my favourites! They are so smooth on the skin, hydrating, minimisers my pores and visibly blurs out blemishes and my dark under-eye circles. AMAZING! What more could a girl ask for in beauty and makeup products?

This is my third bottle of this stuff. Not only does it smell amazing, but it also makes my skin feel amazing and is completely cruelty-free! Cleansing and pampering with a burst of exotic dragonfruit and vanilla and are less than £1 to buy! Perfect.

Procare Sensitive toothpaste has been uniquely formulated by Oral care Experts and has maximum fluoride protection, gentle cleaning technology and ingredients targeting sensitive teeth. With remineralise and strengthen tooth enamel, it protects against tooth decay, removes plaque, remineralises and strengthen tooth enamel. Plus of course, freshen breath! I have such sensitive teeth and I've been looking for a toothpaste for a while now which wouldn't make my teeth hurt and I can finally say I have found one! If you have sensitive teeth like me, then give it a go?

Formulated with vitamins and essential oils of Moroccan Rose Oil, this facial moisturiser quickly absorbed, repairs, revitalises and strengthens the skin. With Vegans Certificates and only natural ingredients involved, I love it! Dr Botanicals believe that the oils and plant extracts can make a real difference to the skin, and the range is based on 100% natural ingredients, which are all paraben-free and free of harmful preservatives and of course not tested on animals. It's rather expensive to buy at £90 so is a luxury product to save up or ask for but this really has helped my skin so much since receiving it. It's quickly became one of my favourites ever beauty products!

This Makeup Revolutions Eye Shadow Palette was created and designed by the gorgeous British Beauty Blogger Jane Cunningham! It contains thirty shades of matte, glimmer and sheen combine in one golden palette for an every which-way smoky eye: from the lightest of brightening base colours to the darkest, most daring shades of navy, black and green and everything in between. The Fortune is the most versatile, every-age, every-tone palette yet. If you haven't checked this palette out already then it's a must-do so for any makeup geek!

I've needed a new headband for ages as my last one broke and of course what better place to go get one then Cath Kidston? Phil actually bought me this as one of my birthday presents and it's so beautiful and easy to use. Perfect for popping on over an up-do, or use it to keep hair away from your face; their fabric bow headband is a pretty, vintage style note. The quality elastic has been chosen for its good tension, and the print goes perfectly with their handbags. Perfect!

I hope you all enjoyed my monthly favourites this month if you have tried or own any of these products let me know what is your opinion on them? Also, if you would like a full review on a certain product let me know and I shall get that up too? I hope you all have a wonderful day and good luck to everyone who enters my giveaway!

With love, Alisha Valerie. x
