AD | Hello my lovelies, I hope you're all having an amazing Friday! Can you believe that there are only two more months until a new start to a new year? I always love this time of year, as in my family we have always had so much to celebrate: Halloween, Guy Farks Night, Thanksgiving, Christmas and then a New Year.
The beginning of October was really good, my husband and I had a little night away in Blackpool with Travelodge* to see the illuminations, they were just like I remember them being as a little girl which made it feel so magical for me and it was Phil's first time ever seeing the lights as he never went when he was a little boy so it was special to share that first moment with him - you can read more about our stay in my upcoming article about our stay at Travelodge South Shore*.
The middle of October was so great. I got so much social media work done and we even managed to finish our Christmas shopping which made me so happy - no Christmas stress for us this year! Also, and most importantly, I got the best news from the hospital to tell me that my Ulcerative Colitis is finally in full remission and I'm doing so well - I am so happy!! We've spent a lot of time doing our home up which has made me super happy too, I couldn't ask for anything better right now.
Just before the end of October, I caught a rotten cold and was stuck in bed for three days not feeling too great - thankfully it was all cleared up by the end of October so I was back to normal to celebrate Halloween. October ended on a great high for me, I'm super excited to be starting a new month on a high with lots of plans ahead of me to celebrate.
