Twitter Chats



Since being the host of the #LTBLOGGERS and #BLOGTALK twitter chats, I now get asked all the time about other Twitter chats and you've probably seen a good load of them going around twitter if you've been a blogger or Twitter member for a while. If you're a new blogger and are new to twitter then Twitter chats are a great way of getting your blog noticed, making new friends and talking with other bloggers and swapping ideas.

 First, and most importantly, the thing you need to know if what is a hashtag and how you use a hashtag. People use hashtags on social media all the time to help us identify a point in a message. Example: I'm so drained today. #tired #sleepy You can then click on the hashtags on twitter and it will take you to whoever else in the world on Twitter is hashtagging the same thing right now. And you can even search a hashtag on twitter, just go into your search bar, put the hashtag [#] and then whatever you want to search for and press enter. So if I wanted to search for Eastenders... [Example: #eastenders] When a lot of people hashtag the same thing, it will become popular which makes it tending. So next time you hear "Eastenders is trending on Twitter" you'll know what people mean. It's the same for twitter chats. Each chat has a different hashtag depending on the chat. Twitter chats take place around the world at different times but I've gathered this list together of all the chats which I know and the times so I really hope this helps.

      Thanks for the comment lovely. It took a while but then a lot of chats starting forming slowly and I just kept adding and updating it. Twitter chats are awesome and I really recommend them for making new blogging friends and getting more traffic on your blog. 🌸💋💕💜
