Goals for 2017

My dad once said to me that "a goal without a plan is just a wish and a goal is a dream with a deadline", so this year I am going to stop saying I wish and start saying I will.

I have decided that 2017 is really going to be my year. I have had such a hard few months and towards the end of 2016, I had a rather stressful few months, which was horrible, so from this year forward I refuse to be anything but successful - both in my blog life and in my personal life. I want to reach my goals and look back and be proud of myself.

I want to do simple goals like: get more sleep, drink more water, get more exercise, read more, relax more, have more patience, be happy and smile more, eat healthier, make new friends, learn to love myself, make one person smile every day and of course love myself! But I also have a few more goals with are equally important I thought I would share with you all.

Start doing FOTDs. I used to do these all the time but a little while ago lost my confidence to put my face more online due to my acne. I would love to start doing them again.

Start vlogging. I've been saying this now for years but I'm so unconfident with my voice as I have a squeaky scouse accent, but I would love to share more with you all.

Have a honeymoon. Still, something Phil and I having been able to do. I know we'd both really love to have a honeymoon this year.

Sort out my anxiety. I'm unsure how many of you are aware but in Autumn last year I suffered from a bit of online bullying, which really made me dread coming online and being myself. A lot of lies and rumors went around about me and it upset me greatly. It made my anxiety go to the worst it's been in such a long time but I have now gotten over it and realise that people make sure of those who they envy and I've promised myself that I won't let small minds convince me that my dreams are too big.

What are your goals for 2017?

With love, Alisha Valerie. x

  7. Love your Dad's little saying at the start of this post, definitely something to live by! Setting yourself smaller, achievable everyday goals like drinking more water and reading more is really positive, I'm sure that achieving them will give you a great sense of fulfilment! You go girl, 2017 is your year!
