My Christmas Wishlist | 2018
AD | Hello my lovelies! Since Christmas is around the corner and will be here before we know it, I thought I would share what presents I'm hoping for under my Christmas tree this year. However, please note, I'm not asking anyone to buy me these presents or anything like that at all these are just what I'm hoping I own one day.

Sue Ryder's Top 10 Christmas Gift Guide | Guest Post
With the seasons changing and Christmas just around the corner, it’s never too early to start thinking about festive home accessories and gift ideas for friends and family members. However, it can be an expensive time of year for some families, and it’s easy for prices to add up when you’re shopping for your nearest and dearest.

Hello December | 2018
Oh my gosh - it is December! Whaaat! How is there only one month left in 2018?
This year has gone so quickly yet so much has happened and in so many ways it's been the worst year of my life because we sadly lost my beautiful Nan to cancer which you can read in this very open blog post and I had some bad health problems and stopped my daily chemotherapy treatment after sixteen years to start cannabis but we moved into our new home - our forever home. It's been a very stressful year and I'm really looking forward that it's December, in such a bittersweet way.

Red Dead Redemption 2 | Morphilms Blogs
Rockstar games got famous for making stealing car games in 1997 and haven't looked back since. Back in 2010 they took the massively successful franchise grand theft auto and made a cowboy game, and it was brilliant. Combining the freedom of GTA with the dawning of the modern United States, Red Dead Redemption was a breath of fresh air that would mosey along at its own pace as Call of Duty was modernising and Mass Effect was under threat of the collectors, RDR said, do you fancy driving this cattle down the ranch and with a tip of my hat I said, “yes ma'am.”

Vaxxed | My Life
My name is Alisha Valerie Gerrard, I’m thirty years old and I was born and raised in Liverpool England. Before I was six years old my hobbies were: ballet, gymnastics, majorettes and climbing trees looking for conkers in the local park. Just after my sixth birthday, I received the MR Vaccination at school - a regular vaccination given to all my classmates. That one vaccination changed my life forever and within a couple of weeks, I was stiff swollen and sore. I was diagnosed with Juvenile Chronic Arthritis as a side effect from the vaccination. It felt like my life was over, as I was no longer able to do all of my favourite hobbies due to being in so much pain. I was put on medication, which to this day I still say didn’t help, this was only the start...

Tom Slemen Haunted Liverpool | Book Review
I first became interested in Tom Slemen's work when I was in high school, my class was given a task by our creative writing teacher to pick a book from the library to review. Most of my classmates picked books that were about romance, autobiographies or plays like Romeo and Juliet or Blood Brothers, I wanted something different so after spending over an hour looking for a book to fall in love with I came across a book by an author called Tom Slemen's which was called "Haunted Liverpool". Since reading that very first book over ten years ago I have fallen in love with all of Tom's books and since it's October I thought I would share my reasons why with you all.

Superdrug Charcole Toothpaste | Review
I have the most sensitive teeth you could ever think of having and although it's a side effect of having chemotherapy treatment for over ten years I really thought that stopped my treatment my teeth may start to feel a little better. I was wrong. My teeth have become more sensitive than ever and I've really struggled in finding a good toothpaste where I didn't feel like I was taking a chainsaw to my mouth every time I brushed my teeth, well that is until now!

Recents in My Mail Box
Firstly I want to state fully that I am not trying to brag at all in any shape or fashion about what products and items I have received from brands over the past month, I have been incredibly lucky to have been able to be in contact with these amazing brands and feel so privileged to be able to have tried all of these awesome products.

Festival Makeup Look | FOTD
Festival season is well and truly in swing and since one of my goals this year is to share more makeup looks on my blog I wanted to share a colourful festival look for you all. In my opinion, music is the strongest form of magic and every time I go to a festival I just want to live there forever. I'm going to be wearing this makeup look when I go to the Liverpool International Music Festival this year and if you aren't from Liverpool then you may not know already but Liverpool hosts the LIMF each year in the gorgeous place that is Sefton Park. I haven't been to a music festival in such a long time and since my health is doing better now I cannot wait to go to LIMF this year and make some precious memories.

Skincare Products I Love
I've had a love and hate relationship with my skin for years and years now and finding the perfect products for my skin has really been a struggle. I have a mix of dry and eczema-prone skin on my body and a mix of oily cheeks with a dry t-zone acne-prone skin on my face - nightmare! Thankfully though, after so many years I've found the best products for me and my skin so I wanted to share them with you all in the hope that all of them some of them will help you too.

Hanx Condoms | Review
Hanx* is a little box of happiness condoms, made with women in mind, they're ultra-thin, clean scented and best of all, vegan. For too long, women buying and carrying condoms have been seen as sleazy and easy, we've carried the shame and put up with unfair judgements that are stopping them from taking charge of our sex lives. Well not anymore!

The Soundtrack To My Life | Morphilms Blogs
Something that makes a movie, TV show or game stand out to me is the soundtrack. It can hook you in an instant or keep you going when the actual narrative drags. So I thought I’d write up a few suggestions for anyone looking to enjoy a story and a couple of good tunes. An honourable mention goes to Daria, which has a kickass MTV soundtrack that isn’t on the DVDs because of license issues.

Hempz Beauty Pink Pomelo & Himalayan Sea Salt Herbal Collection
When was the last time you found a brand that you fell in love with? Like literally you adore every single one of their products and can't find fault in any of them? I know for me until recently, it was a really long few years ago. If you've been reading my blog for a little while or you follow me on one of my social media account then you may read that I've been talking about Hempz Beauty* literally non-stop as I love them so much! So when towards the end of last month I was contacted asking if I'd like to receive their new "Pink Pomelo & Himalayan Sea Salt" collection, I was over the moon as if you're a regular reader of my blog you'll know how much I adore cruelty-free and natural products but also products that contain hemp or cannabis in them.

CBD Brothers Hemp Oil
I've been a spoonie for most of my life, twenty-three years to be exact and up until six months ago I was taking a daily chemotherapy tablet as well as other steroid medications each year, I hated it. I know there are a lot of people who love medications and I understand that nine times out of ten medications work wonders for people but after listening to my doctors over the years and trying it so many different medications over the course of my life I was done with it all. I wanted something which wasn't medically tested on animals, I wanted something which was natural and organic so I chose Cannabis.

It's Kind of a Funny Story Movie | Review
Directed by Ryan Fleck and Anna Boden this movie is about sixteen-year-old Craig Gilner (played by Atypical's Keir Gilchrist) checks himself into a mental-health clinic as he is stressed by adolescence. Unfortunately, the youth wing is closed, so he must spend his mandated five-day stay with adults. One of them, Bobby (played by The Hangover's Zach Galifianakis), quickly becomes his mentor and protege, while Craig finds himself drawn to a fellow teen, Noelle (played by 'Wild Child' Emma Roberts), who just may be the cure he needs to forget an unrequited crush.

My Five Year Goals
My absolute beautiful friend Kiah, who if you don't know already you should check out because she is amazing, did this blog post a while ago and it gave me the idea to do one for myself, so thanks babe for posting it and giving me the idea! I don't like to say I have a plan in life, I have goals and I work hard to achieve them but I also believe that you have to put the effort in and what is meant to be will happen. So instead of calling this "my five-year plan", I've decided to name it "My Five Year Goals"

James Bulger 'I Let Him Go' | Book Review
I was recently kindly asked by Amazon Prime* if I'd like to receive a book to review on my blog and when I saw that this book was on the list to choose from, I jumped at the chance. If you don't know already 'I Let Him Go' is a heartbreaking, important story shared and written by Denise Fergus, the mother of James Bulger who was sadly murdered by two ten-year-old boys after being kidnapped in Liverpool twenty-five years ago.

How I Stay Positive on Bad Mental Health Days
From my own personal experiences, bad mental health days always make me feel like utter shit. I don't want to do anything, I don't want to be around anyone at all, let alone let anyone touch me to give me a cuddle, because as silly as it sounds, it's like I don't want someone to hug me and catch my bad day off me.

Prayer To The Blessed Virgin
Prayer To The Blessed Virgin. Never known to fail. Oh most beautiful flower of Mount Carmel, faithful Mother of the Son of God, Immaculate Virgin assist in this necessity. Oh Star of the Sea help me and show heein you are my Mother. Oh Holy Mary, Mother of God, Queen of Heaven and Earth, I humbl beseech you from the bottom of my heart to succour in my necessity. There are none that can withstand your powers, Mary conceived without sin. Pray for us who have recourse to thee. Sweet Mother I place this cause in your hands. Thank you for your mercy towards me and mine. This prayer must be said for three days, and after that request will be granted and the prayer must be published.

Happy Easter! | 2018
I really think that Easter time is a wonderful time, and since yesterday was Easter Sunday and today is Easter Monday I thought I would do the Easter tag. I was brought up Catholic so Easter time for myself and my family, just like any other special occasion, has always been about being together as a family making memories and eating a lot of yummy food - and a lot of chocolate!
