It's My Birthday! (& Tag!)

Today is my birthday! Exciting times!! Thank you so much to everyone who got me a card or a present, and everyone who took the time to wish me a happy birthday - I love you all! I thought, seeing as it's my birthday I'd get around to doing The Birthday Tag for you all, so here it is..

You may have seen on social media that myself and Samantha have been organising a bloggers event for months now - and I can finally say that all of our hard work paid off! The #LPPevent has been and gone, and wow what an amazing day it was. 

Albert Dock & Maritime Museum | Our Day Out

At the end of May Phil and myself were invited along to Liverpool's Maritime Museum by The National Trust to see their Lusitania: Life, Loss and Legacy exhibition.

If you didn't know this already I'm actually a really big fan of museums and art galleries so love exploring a good one. Although I've been to Liverpool's Maritime Museum before, I'd never seen this exhibition and was curious to see if it was spoonie and wheelchair friendly.

Colourful Summer Makeup

I was asked by a beauty brand called Coastal Scents to try out their 36 eye shadow Smoky Palette, and of course I jumped at the chance. I adore Coastal Scents and have done now for about ten years! I played with this palette so much before doing my colourful summer makeup look and have to say I am really impressed. The colours stay on for a really long time (with eye primer!) and they are so bright. I even fell asleep one afternoon then my makeup look done and woke up four hours later with not a move at all from my eyes. Perfect! 

My Top 5 Instagram Accounts

Today's blog post was going to be about My Summer Skincare Routine but, I have to be honest and it hasn't changed that much from My Spring Skincare Routine. I ran out of my Garnier Skin Naturals Softening Toner and replaced it with a Garnier Refreshing Toner Start A-Fresh Toner, swapped my Moo Goo Skincare Full Cream Moisturise for the L'Oreal Paris Nutri-Gold Silk and I've added in the Origins GinZing Eye Cream and The Body Shop's Vitamin E Sink-In Moisture Sleeping Mask which I use about three times a week.

So instead, I thought I would do something different. I love seeing this type of blog myself so I thought I would share with you My Top 5 Instagram Accounts to follow. I love my instagram - I'm not someone who posts daily on there, but I do try and post a couple of times a week. I tried to get into the habit of posting once a day but that failed.

June Favourites | 2016

Hello beautiful's, I'm currently sat on my bed watching an episode of In The Club whilst Daisy is throwing her toy to play with me and I'm wondering if I should just stop writing this blog post and do it another day. I know I shouldn't stop writing really because I just haven't actually blogged properly in weeks... for some reason, I've not really been wanting to and just can't find time to sit down properly and write with so many going on. I think I may have lost my blogging mojo a little.

Since June is now over and July is starting I'm hoping that all of that is going to change as I have so many exciting things happening this month; including the Liverpool Period Project Event with Samantha and My Birthday at the end of the month. But as it's the now the 1st of July, here's what I've been loving in June...
