Hello, and welcome to my new blog... page, I suppose?
If you don't already know I'm Alisha Valerie. I'm a Liverpool lass, living in Prescot and I have been blogging since I was fourteen years old (I'm now twenty-six). I've used various websites to blog over the years (GirLand, Freewebs, Webs, Tumblr, etc) and I'm now jumping on the craze that is blogspot and I'm going to be blogging from this new website page I've made.
I thought to start off my new page I would do a small about me so here goes; I've been living in Prescot England for nearly six years and I absolutely love living here. I moved from Liverpool because I honestly just wanted a change, and I didn't want to move too far away encase my family needed me but far enough for me to build my independence up. Although I now live in a little close which is full of such lovely neighbours and homes, it's very country like life.
I'm a wife to the most caring, gorgeous, amazing man called Phil and we have been married since 12th December 2014.
I am a massive animal lover. Our cat Tiara went missing in March 2014 and I do believe that one day she will find her way back home to us. Our dog Sassy passed away in February 2015 and it's been such a tough time to try and come to terms with her passing, she was the most loveable caring pet I have ever known. In March 2015 we decided to get a new puppy as our home was just too silent and we decided on another dog who was the same breed as Sassy (a Jack Russell) so we found our little puppy, who I named Daisy. She is just so cute and beautiful, I love her so much. I'm trying to convince Phil that we should get some hens but at the moment he's having none of it, lol.
I suffer from RA (since I was six years old) & UC (I was diagnosed at fourteen years old), I'm a bit of a geek (I love my books, xbox, comics, wwe, and anime), I'm a big feminist and a massive believer in the Law of Attraction.
I haven't the slightest clue of who I am, what I'm doing or where I want to be. But I know I want more than the typical 9 to 5 job, 2.5 kids and flashy car.
I've been involved in the beauty and fashion industry since I was twelve years old - I had my own column in the Girl Talk Magazine in my early teenage years. I've also worked with Shout Magazine, Mizz Magazine, GirLand online, Professional Beauty and Vogue.
As I have mentioned I have been blogging for years as a hobby and in March 2015 I decided to become a full-time blogger, so we turned our spare room into my makeup room/office and I now blog about beauty, fashion and lifestyle reviews, ideas, diys, and general thoughts.
