Summer Afternoon Tea | DIY

If you read the blog post that I posted on Saturday then you'll know that when I was asked by BBC Good Food* to post some of their summer cocktail recipes on my blog I was very weary about posting something that wasn't written by myself. Well the same goes for today, I wouldn't normally have someone else publish something on my blog for me but I really had to share this recipe for Summer Citrus Iced Tea with you all because it really is amazing!

If you love tea, but you don’t find it refreshing in hot weather,
try this wonderfully fresh alternative.

What You Need

 - 6 ordinary tea bags
 - 2 tbsp caster sugar
 - 10 sprigs mint
 - 300ml fresh orange juice
 - Juice 1 lime
 - Half of a sliced orange
 - Mint leaves and ice to serve

What To Do

 - Make the tea with 1.2 litres water and the sugar.
 - Add mint to the pot and infuse for 10 mins. Strain and cool.
 - Pour into a jug, stir in the juices and serve with orange slices, mint and plenty of ice.

Do you like the sound of this version of summer iced tea?

With love, Alisha Valerie. x

  18. Less emotionally, a firefly female in the genus Futures mimics a female's flash in the genus Photinus that attracts males from Photinus, who are drawn to him to eat. Not only do Photuris females get food, they also include Photinus male chemicals that make them hateful to predators.
