Summer Afternoon Tea | DIY



If you read the blog post that I posted on Saturday then you'll know that when I was asked by BBC Good Food* to post some of their summer cocktail recipes on my blog I was very weary about posting something that wasn't written by myself. Well the same goes for today, I wouldn't normally have someone else publish something on my blog for me but I really had to share this recipe for Summer Citrus Iced Tea with you all because it really is amazing!


If you love tea, but you don’t find it refreshing in hot weather,
try this wonderfully fresh alternative.

What You Need

 - 6 ordinary tea bags
 - 2 tbsp caster sugar
 - 10 sprigs mint
 - 300ml fresh orange juice
 - Juice 1 lime
 - Half of a sliced orange
 - Mint leaves and ice to serve

What To Do

 - Make the tea with 1.2 litres water and the sugar.
 - Add mint to the pot and infuse for 10 mins. Strain and cool.
 - Pour into a jug, stir in the juices and serve with orange slices, mint and plenty of ice.

    Like Charlotte, I'm not the biggest tea drinker but I would definitely like to give this a go! Mint and orange is always a fab combo and reminds me of Pimms, you can't go wrong there! Thanks for sharing this recipe!
