Gieves and Hawkes

Note: This is part one of a two part blog post, don't forget to come back tomorrow for part two.

Hello beautiful's! On Saturday 30th April 2016, Phil and myself had a very busy day in Liverpool and attended not one but two events! This is a full day of what happened at the first event which was held at Gieves and Hawkes in The Metquarter Liverpool.

Phil was invited along to a event held in The Metquarter in Liverpool with Gieves and Hawkes to have celebrate 10 years in Liverpool and the arrival of their Spring and Summer Collection.

If you don't know already Gieves and Hawkes is in The Metquarter Liverpool and offer private tailoring and ready to wear men's wear. They were founded in 1771 and since then dressed so many famous people and Royal family members. British royals who have been dressed by Gieves & Hawkes include Charles, Prince of Wales, the Queen's father and grandfather, George VI and George V, as well as the royal Princes William and Harry.

Over the years Gieves & Hawkes have tailored clothes for the royal houses of Denmark, Norway, Greece, Romania, Ethiopia, Lesotho, Jordan, Iraq, Malaysia, Brunei, Thailand and Tonga as well as the Aga Khan. Today the House’s three Royal Warrants stand in recognition of unrivalled quality and service. So as you can tell, they are pretty amazing!

I loved how friendly the staff where on welcoming us to the store, they explained what was going on and showed us about a little. A man introduced himself as Valentino and asked Phil to take a seat whilst he then gave him a wet shave and male facial, it was so odd to watch as I've never seen a man give a facial before but he done an amazing job and I want to thank Valentino and all of the staff at Gieves and Hawkes for a wonderful time.

If you have wedding coming up, business meeting or would just like a new suit for a special occasion I would highly recommend going into Gieves and Hawkes to have a look and make an appointment with them because they really are a wonderful company and the staff who work in there are so friendly and helpful.

With love, Alisha Valerie. x
