Summer Sleep Routines


AD | Hello my lovelies, happy Saturday, I really hope that you're all having a really wonderful weekend! I have suffered really bad with insomnia in the past and getting into a good sleep routine whilst being at home all the time (more so in the lockdown) as been super hard so I wanted to share some tips and tricks I've learnt along the way about getting a great nights sleep in the hope that it will help so many of you have sweet dreams...




| BEFORE |

x Plan a healthy breakfast the night before
x Put your phone away two hours before you go to bed
x Read a positive good book
x Mediate or do yoga
x Drink chamomile tea to calm you
x Try burning aromatherapy


| DURING |

x Charge your phone outside your bedroom
x Make sure it's a stable temperature in your bedroom
x Try and eyemask or earplugs during sleep
x Darken your bedroom with blackout blinds


| AFTER |

x Let some natural light and air in
x Use a radio alarm clock and avoid snoozing
x Take time to eat your breakfast
x Drink water to hydrate yourself
x Stretch and be active
x Be grateful
