Hello beautiful's,
Can you believe that it's Wednesday, the 1st June 2016 today? I can't. How come this year seems to be going so quickly? It's going to be Halloween and Christmas before we even have time to realise it! Since it is the 1st of the month, it's time for my monthly favourites blog post so this is what I've been loving in May 2016...
I was really scaptical about these as I've had CC pearls in the past before and they hadn't done anything for me so when I seen them on offer for only £3 I thought - why not try them? I had them for about five days and didn't use them and then gave in and tried them... OMFG! I am so happy with them. Not only have they been hiding my dark under eye area but they have also been blending out my red nose and chin area's too. I now have been using them on a daily basis.
I'm not going to say too much about this blogging event as I am going to be doing a blog post in the next few weeks about it but what I will say is I had an awesome time, seeing new and old faces and meeting some new brands and meeting David from Independent Liverpool - it was a wonderful day.
Barry M Cosmetics Lipstick* (Shade Dolly Pink)
I've been wearing this colour for a couple of days and I'm really loving it. It's the lip stick I was wearing for #LivBloggersBall and so many people said how lovely it was. I think they may be my summer favourite!
These came out yesterday and I was actually lucky enough to be sent them to review before their realise date - you can read that blog post by clicking here. But I really wanted to try them again so when shopping in Tesco I decided to pick them up in a deal of 2 for £3 bargain! I've non-stop used these now for a couple of weeks and I have fell in love with them all over again. They smell amazing and have left my hair feeling strong, silk-soft and beautiful.
I'm really surprised that I still have loads of this left as I've been using it now for about three months daily and I've only just hit using half a bottle. This product is totally worth the money and I will be buying it once I have finished with this bottle. I cannot thank Healthy Foods Ltd enough for sending me this. My skin has been feeling softer, cleaner and looking so much better. Perfect buy for anyone.
As a lot of people know already, I have very dry skin and I have eczema on my arms and in my hair which makes me look like a big flake most of the time. Finding a body scrub can be hard work sometimes as I'm allergic to tea tree, lavender and for the reason that a lot of them make me look bright red - not a good look! I decided to use this one as I'd heard a lot of positive things about the brand Rituals already so wanted to make my own mind up. After the first time of using this I loved it. It smells amazing, makes me look and feel soft, and does not make me red which I love seeing as I go from pale to red back to pale in the summer time. I'd recommend this highly to anyone looking for a new body scrub!
Barry M Cosmetics Nail Paint* (Shades 'Bright Pink' & 'Princess')
I've been wearing 'bright pink' with 'princess' over it for about two weeks now and I've had so many compliments and questions about my nails recently. It's seems like the perfect colours for the Spring/Summer time this year and the way it gives the 'rose gold' shimmer effect is just beautiful.
You may have seen already that I raved about this on twitter about three weeks ago because I couldn't believe how good it was from the first time of using it. Most of you know already that I suffer from acne and a couple of weeks ago I woke up with bright red skin and NINE new spots on my chin... talk about a bad skin day! I put some of this magic stuff on, and was a little worried since it does burn a tiny bit to begin with but I left it on for 20 minutes and washed it off with a clean wash cloth - not only was my skin waaay less red but I only had two spots left! This stuff is like magic!! I've never known anything to work so quickly or so good before. Everyone needs to try this stuff out because it is amazing!
This beauty smells amazing and reminds me on being on holiday. I've noticed that it does exactly what it says on the bottle too "leaves skin soft and radiant", it's dermatology tested, non-greasy, oil-free, water-resistant, and packed with all things good for your skin like vitamins C and E - a must buy for any sunbathing lover.
I'm not going to say must because you'll have all probably read my blog post about the tour already which I put up on 26th May but I had such an amazing time at this tour and seeing Matt and James back together on stage in Busted was one of the best things ever. I can't wait for the next tour now!
Michael Scofield is coming back from the dead. I am SO excited for this to happen, I'm more excited to see Prison Break season five than I was when I found out that Busted were reuniting and trust me when I say I really did scream the house down in excitement when I got my Busted tickets! If you've been following me for a really long time you'll know that I adore Prison Break - it's one of the best shows I've ever seen in my life!!
I can't say much about Game of Thrones encase I spoil it for everyone but let's be honest, I don't need to say much - it's Game of Thrones! The only people who don't like Game of Thrones are usually the people who haven't ever actually given it a chance, not everyone - but most! This season is not disappointing, in fact it's my favourite season so far! It's like everything has built up to right now and it's bloody awesome!
