Rosemary Mint Shaving Cream | DIY

Hey beautiful's! Christmas Day is literally a few weeks away and I wanted to do another little Christmas Day blog post for present ideas but I didn’t want to do a haul or general tag blog so I decided to do a beauty DIY blog instead. This is going to be my second of two DIY Christmas Day blogs so make sure if you haven't already then go back to next weeks blogs to check that one out!

When I got this idea to do this blog post, the people I drafted it to said that it looks more like a men's blog post so I wanted to make it clear that this is not just for men. This can be used on women as well, but I thought it would be a nice little personalised present for Christmas Day that the men and women in your life would will actually use.

What You Will Need:
 - 1/3 cup shea butter (72.67 grams)
 - 1/3 cup virgin coconut oil (72.05 grams)
 - 1/4 cup jojoba or sweet almond oil (54.88 grams)
 - 10 drops rosemary essential oil
 - 3-5 drops peppermint essential oil

How To Make This:
In a small saucepan over low heat, combine the shea butter and coconut oil, stirring until just melted. Remove from the heat and transfer to a heat-safe bowl. Add in the jojoba oil and the essential oils. Stir to mix. Place the bowl in the refrigerator and chill until solid. Remove from the refrigerator and whip using a hand beater or a stand mixer until light and fluffy. Spoon into a jar. Lid and keep in a cool, dry place.

Its so simply and easy, anyone could do it! I hope you all enjoyed reading this blog, and I really hope you are all having a great weekend! Let me know if you make this DIY Christmas present idea by commenting below or tweeting me.

With love, Alisha Valerie. x
