What I'm Loving Lately | Spring Edition

I haven't done a "Loving Lately" blog post in ages so I thought I would share the things that I have constantly been using lately on a daily or weekly basis.

Hempz Pomegranate Body Wash* | £39.99
If you ever want to know what I smell like (and it's a bit weird if you do!) then this is it! I've been washing in this body wash now for a few weeks and I've been in love with it. It's enriched with one-hundred percent pure natural hemp seed oil, helps provide skin hydration and nourishment, and even helps to condition skin for a healthier look. The shea butter and natural extracts help calm, soothe and condition skin as it's packed with so many vitamins. If you'd like to read a full blog post where I've reviewed this product then click here.

Bilou Cream Foam Fizzy Berry* | £3.99
This is the other body wash which I've completely fallen head over heels in love with. Bilou's Fizzy Berry foam body wash smells so fruity and fresh, like a tingly berry shower with a lemon spritzer; perfection for the Springtime. Made with high-quality ingredients, cruelty-free and vegan this really is the perfect little present for yourself or a family member. I know I'm going to be buying more of this brand's products to try out.

Barry M Cosmetics Molten Metal 'Blue Glacier' Nail Polish | £3.99
This Barry M Cosmetics nail polish has been on my nails now for weeks! The molten metals polish gives your nails show-stopping style and an instant luxe look with mirror-shine foil finish that will glisten for days. I'm not really the fan of wearing blue nail polishes usually but this one is just so beautiful and shimmery, I love it.

Simple Kind To Skin Hydrating Light Moisturiser* | £4.39
I have the worst skin during this time of year, my skin is so dry and my face gets so flakey. I cannot recommend this product more as its completely changed my skin and hydrated it. It's got such a wonderful lightweight formula which I love as I hate thick moisturisers as it makes me feel like I'm wearing a face mask all day long. This moisturiser is full of multi-vitamins which re-hydrates your skin in such an incredible way, plus it's made with triple-purified water so I don't think any other moisturiser could top this one for me.

I have since found out that this is not a cruelty-free product like their website said it was. I do not recommend buying this moisturiser is you live a cruelty-free lifestyle. I am heartbroken about this and feel so mislead as the company who sent it to me lied and told me it was cruelty-free.

Soap and Glory Vitamin C Facial Wash | £8.00
I have such dry sensitive skin on my face and I have to be super careful what I use otherwise I can end up looking like a beetroot for days, so I've been using this Soap and Glory Vitamin C Facial Wash twice a week in the shower and I've really noticed the difference in my skin as its so soft and brightened. This face wash is made with natural yuzu superfruits, it's a three-in-one detox for your skin, it cleans, purifies, effortlessly removes makeup and gently exfoliates. In short, it’s one killer cleanser!

Yankee Candle Morning Blossom Wax Melt* | £1.79
I adore making my home smell beautiful and floral on sunny days and with the warmer sunnier weather setting in, I'm loving this wax melt. It makes my whole home smell beautiful and I've even had people compliment me on how good my home smells, it's all thanks to this little one. However, it saddens me to say that I only have one of these left now and they have been discontinued so if anyone can recommend something similar I would love you so much!

Asda Tropical Island Fruit & Nut Mix | 39p
I'm such a muncher and I don't really like munching on crisps or chocolate too much, and if I munch too much fruit it's really bad for my ulcerative colitis and I end up in a lot of pain with my stomach. Which is why I am loving these little snack packets of mixed fruit and nut. They come in a small packet and are an awesome source of fibre. The pack include raisins, peanuts, almonds, papaya, banana chips, apricot and coconut. They're so perfect for sliding into your handbag too!

Home Bargains Heart Designed Dining Plate | £1.49
I am in love with these dining plates! They remind me so much of the Emma Bridgewater ones and although I've always wanted to own some of the Emma Bridgewater dining-ware I've never been able to afford it so I was overjoyed when I saw these in Home Bargains. They're such amazing quality and the design of them in beautiful, plus they're pretty big so wonderful for 'man-size' potions.

What have you been loving lately?

With love, Alisha Valerie. x

  8. I love the brand Soap & Glory and have dry sensitive skin too! I think I may have to give that one a go, recently I've been using one I got in my Sephora subscription box, but I'm not seeing any difference and it's almost gone. I also love the Simple Miscellar water, I tried a moisturizer from the brand but it wasn't hydrating enough, maybe I should give this one a go. Thanks for the wonderful information!

  17. I have heard so so many good things about Barry M nail polishes, the fact that they're cruelty free and vegan is massively important to me! I have been browsing their range on the Superdrug website and I've seen that they have a mermaid collection out, which is something I'll totally be splurging on when payday comes around! The Hempz body wash sounds amazing, anything nourishing is so important in the colder weather so looks like I'll need to pick up some of this too!
