Croxteth Hall, Farm & Park | Out Day Out

I’m not going to lie, I have been to Croxteth Park a lot of times growing up as I didn’t live far from here but I’ve never really spent a whole day here experiencing everything it has to offer. Phil was off work for the Bank Holiday and although we did originally plan to go and see the three ships (Queen Mary 2, Queen Elizabeth 2 and Queen Victoria 2) which are in Liverpool at the moment, we changed our minds the night before and made a new plan.

It's been a couple of months now since we actually visited the place (we visited on Monday 25th May 2015) but I wanted to share this blog post again on this blog as we really did have a great day.

Croxteth Hall is situated in a beautiful Country Park setting and is one of Liverpool’s most important heritage sites. The Country Park is also home to a real working Home Farm, a Victorian Walled Garden and a 500 acre nature reserve - all open to the public.

Also right now (until 31st August 2015) there is a small fair which is rather cheap. You get 12 tickets for £10 at the fair and there are not only rides for kids but adults too! Phil and me loved the mini waltz and Phil also loved the Twister ride which he went on alone as I was a little dizzy from the waltz. The rides for kids are awesome with rides from a good sized fun house to bungee trampoline jumpers! The fair opens 12noon daily until 4pm.

Facilities and Attractions: Historic Hall. Home Farm. Victorian Walled Garden. Horse Riding Lessons. 500 acre Country Park. Gift Shops. Cafe. Free Parking. Wheelchair Access. Adventure playground: swings, roundabout, waltz rotator, see-saw, climbing frame, infant play area, multi play area.

If you would like to arrange a visit to Croxteth yourself here are the address and telephone number you may need to get there: | Address: Croxteth Hall Lane, Liverpool, Merseyside L12 0HB | Phone: 0151 233 3020 |

I hope you all enjoyed this blog! Phil and me really enjoyed our day out here! Don't forget to come back tomorrow and see what tomorrow's blog post is going to be all about? I hope you all have a wonderful day!

With love, Alisha Valerie. x
