Birthday Questions | Tag

If you don't know already my birthday was yesterday and I was tagged in the birthday questions tag, but I wanted to wait until after my birthday to do this blog post.

One] When is your birthday?
My birthday was yesterday, 31st July.

Two] How old are you turning? (Or if your birthday recently passed, how old did you turn?)
I turned twenty-seven years old. I feel like I'm getting so old.

Three] What was you're favourite present that you've ever received?
I am so grateful for every single present or card someone gets me. It's lovely to be thought of in the way they go out, think of you, and buy you something. I really think that is lovely.

Four] Are you/did you have a party this year? If so what are you doing?
I am having a party yes, and I'm actually having one this afternoon. I am having a vintage Alice in Wonderland themed tea part at my parents house with my family.

Five] How do you usually celebrate your birthday?
It really depends every year. Last year I had a birthday bbq at my home with friends and this year I'm spending time with family.

Six] What was the most memorable birthday that you had?
My 16th birthday party was great, I had a massive house party with a 1980s party theme in my parents old house, but it got a little bit out of control though. My 21st birthday party was great, it was pink princess themed and we had an outdoor karaoke and outdoor bar set up for all of my family and friends in a big white tent in my parents old home.

Seven] If you had an unlimited amount of money what would you do for your birthday?
I would love to spend a birthday in the Atlantis resort in te Bahamas. Sunshine, beach and virgin cocktails - I would love it!

Eight] What's your birthday wish list?
I had a birthday wish list blog post which you can view by clicking here

Nine] If you only had one birthday left, what would you do for your birthday?
Spend it with all the people and animals I love and care about. I wouldn't care where or what we were doing, I would just want to be with them.

Ten] Show a picture from your birthday, preferably an embarrassing one?
Oh no... Myself and my family are in this picture and it's nearly ten years old. This picture as taken at my 18th birthday party. I know it may look like a normal picture but I am actually really embarrassed about the way I look in this picture. I wasn't happy with my image at eighteen years old, I didn't know what or who I was really, and I just wasn't confident at all.

Eleven] Do you have any birthday traditions?
I love having a little sleep-in, then getting up and opening my presents, then having a really bad junk food breakfast and getting ready to spend the day with whatever I am doing.

Twelve] What's your favourite part about your birthday?
I just love spending time with the people I love and care about... and cake! Birthday cake is the best!

Thirteen] What's one thing that changed a lot since your last birthday?
So much has changed; I wasn't married, we had Sassy, our home was so different (have done so much work to our home since moving in last June), and I've lost contact with a lot of friends due to unnecessary drama. A lot is different, it's strange and scary how much can change in a year.

Fourteen] Have you ever been thrown a surprise party or have you ever thrown one for someone?
We've (my family and myself) have thrown some for my grandparents over the years as their birthdays are so close together (my grandmothers is 11th June and my grandfathers is 14th June) but I've never had one thrown for me. I personally wouldn't like one thrown for me so if you know me and read this don't ever do that to me? Please and thank you my'lovely's.

I hope you're all having a great weekend, and I really hope that you all enjoyed reading this blog post. Come back tomorrow to see what presents I got for my birthday?

With love, Alisha Valerie. x
