'New Year' with Morphilms | TAG



This coming year, I hope you create a story that you love. I hope you make something beautiful and take risks. I hope you dare yourself to do brave things. I hope you will have a conviction and see it through. I hope you fall in love - with art, a person, or with God. I hope you discover the miracle of faith. I hope life breaks you and from the disaster, I hope you come out brand new and beautiful. I hope you have the courage to take the weak things and amplify them until your life overflows with only the good stuff. I hope you see the world and meet interesting people but above all, I hope you have an absolutely passionate love affair with life.





Question 1. If you could look back on one memory from last year that you wish you could relive, what would it be?
Phil: When we moved into the bungalow. It was the quickest and easiest move we had done, and it was a fresh start for us. 
Alisha: The afternoon we took a trip up to Southport. We had such  a chilled, relaxing afternoon and it was lovely to just forget about the rest of the world for a while and have a good time.

Question 2. What was one new year's resolution that you accomplished?
Phil: To have a home which was easier for [Alisha].
Alisha: I held a bloggers event, and also our home move made so much difference for us.

Question 3. Three words to describe last year?
Phil: Celebrity deaths aplenty.
Alisha: Stressful, worth it.

Question 4. Best music related creation/inspiration last year by an artist in your opinion?
Phil: Scroobiospip.
Alisha: Ed Sheeran. 

Question 5. Something you are looking forward to this coming year?
Phil: Our honeymoon in July. 
Alisha: Our honeymoon in July.

Question 6. What did last year teach you?
Phil: Save money!
Alisha: Friends come and go. Don't trust too easily.

Question 7. What was your most worn clothing item of last year?
Phil: My grey combat pants.
Alisha: Probably my shiny leggings.

Question 8. If you had, to sum up, your year in one word, what would it be?
Phil: Pheonix. Rising from the old, into something new.
Alisha: Wonderful. 

Question 9. What are you hoping for more of this coming year?
Phil: Happiness with my wife. 
Alisha: Happiness, and money. 

Question 10. What are you hoping for less of this coming year?
Phil: Set-backs.
Alisha: Online hate. 

Question 11. Best book you read last year?
Phil: The Punisher: Born. 
Alisha: The Girl on The Train. 

Question 12. What is your New Year’s resolution for the upcoming year?
Phil: Go on a nice holiday.
Alisha: I have a blog post coming up in the next few weeks so come back and check mine out?

    Aw I really enjoyed reading this post, it was a nice summary of the year! I think Phil was really accurate when he said 'celeb deaths aplenty' too! Also I loved Girl on the Train as well, I hope 2017 is full on some equally thrilling books! Sorry you've been receiving online hate too, I didn't realise you had an issue with it.

    Happiness is a great goal to want to achieve. I'm also so sorry that you've been getting online hate when you're so lovely! I know it's hard but just try to ignore those who make you miserable and focus on the positives in your life :)
