Creating A Fresh Start

If you've followed me for a little while you may remember that months ago in my Hello April blog post I mentioned that there was going to be a blog post coming up all about what was happening in March and all of the stress I was going through. Well finally months later I can finally share the news with my readers and explain to you all what has been going on, so go grab a drink or a small snack and get comfortable.
Back in March, Phil and I decided that we wanted to move out of our home and create a fresh start somewhere new. A lot happened in our old home and we just needed that fresh start where we could relax and settle down without worrying about certain things anymore. We needed a new home we felt safe in, and since you're never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream, that's exactly what we did. We set a goal to find a home where we could feel comfortable and basically just somewhere that we could look forward to coming home to after a long day.

Just when the caterpillar thought her life was over, she began to fly.

We didn't want to share the news online until now for a few reaons; mainly because we didn't want to jinx the whole thing as the home we have is just too good to be truth, but also we didn't want certain people finding out and putting us off moving home or putting us off our new home, and also we are aware that there were certain people online who basically just spread hate and I didn't want it causing my anxiety to go off as moving house is stressful enough without starting to worry about what people think - as this has sadly happened in the past. I know I shouldn't anyway but I'm only human so that's what I do. Also, if you're one of Phil or my family members or close friends and would like to have our new home address then please let us know and we will have that sent over to you.

We are really upset about leaving our old home as we made some really wonderful memories there and also because we feel like we've wasted so much money that we had saved up as we had just finished getting it the way we wanted, every room had been either wallpapered or painted and we had just had the kitchen floor tiled etc so all of that money we can't get back and now need to start again but thankfully this time around we are buying our new home so we can do all the changes knowing that we will be living there for a really long time and not worry about wasting money.

If you'd like to see room tours or some sneak peaks then follow me on my instagram account and you'll be able to see a couple of them on there and you will be able to help me pick what things should stay and what things we should buy with some voting polls I'll have up now and again. Please send us all the positive vibes you can for our new home as we are going to need as many as possible, and I really hope that you will all be happy for us and not spread hate about our new home for us online as we finally feel like we are somewhere where we belong.

With love, Alisha Valerie. x
