Migraine Relief

I don't know about any of my other spoonie friends out there but I suffer so badly from horrible migraines all of the time, it's one of the horrible side effects from my health treatment so since it's taken me years to find the right way to handle my migraines but since I have finally found one I wanted to share it with my readers just encase it helps anyone else out too!

| Cold Water | I know everyone talks about the benefits of drinking water so I bore you too much with the facts but I will say that drinking cold water when you have pain in your head is one of the best things ever. Drinking cold water when you have pain in your head can help keep you to stop overheating and make your horrible migraine tension untwingly and hopefully relax and make it easier to go away quicker.

| Superdrug Paracetomal | Using paracetomal when having head pain is a must for me, I cannot cope with it. I find that paracetamol relieves my pain and brings down any high temperatures reducing my fever. I personally think these Superdrug 500mg paracetamol caplets are the fastest to work for me. However, always remember never take anything else containing paracetamol while taking this medicine, always keep out of the sight and reach of children and always read the label.

| Kool 'n' Soothe Migraine Head Strips | I've mentioned already how bad I suffer from headaches and migraines, obviously otherwise why would I bother sharing this blog post, but I had to share these amazing box of wonderfulness with you all. You may have seen these advertised on social media or on TV already but these Kool 'n' Soothe Migraine head strips are soft gel sheets designed to provide immediate cooling relief to the severe discomfort associated with a migraine and headaches. Comforting and soothing, they provide a gentle continuous cooling effort for up to eight hours helping you through your migraine. Kool 'n' Soothe Migraine is non-medicinal so safe to use with pain relief medication to maximise your relief. For best results, Kool 'n' Soothe Migraine should be used at the first signs of a migraine or a headache.

| Eye Mask | My personal pink unicorn eye mask is from Loungeable Boutique on Amazon*. I may look a little silly in it but it's so worth it because it really blacks out so much light. If you're not a unicorn fan then you can pick from: a lilac unicorn, french bulldog, penguin, reindeer, cow, polar bear or a simple nude/satin design. These also make perfect little gifts for family and friends!

| Headphones | A couple of months ago I was lucky enough to receive a hair of the gorgeous Gioteck TX-30 Headphones* in the pink design. They're perfect for using on xbox one, PS4 and Switch and can be bought from Argos online for only £15.99, or you can do what I do and use them for meditation. They're so comfortable and are cushioned with alacantra and presenting clear, high-quality digital sound. Headphones are essential for my migraine mediation as I like to block all 'life sound' out and only listen to relaxing music.

| Michael Sealey | I highly recommend you check out Michael Sealey's Youtube Channel! I have spoken about Michael Sealey before on my blog and social media and I really cannot recommend him enough. He's based in Australia but thankfully you can watch and listen to his videos anywhere in the world.

I love some of my tips help you whenever you have a migraine!

With love, Alisha Valerie. x
