I hated school so much. I went to a very strict Catholic all girls school ran by nuns, and it was very intimidating when I first started there, I was scared, but the more the years went on I made some good friends and that was mainly because I stepped outside of my comfort zone which I do recommend everyone does at least once at school as it may surprise you.
This blog post is going to be my view on back to school make up. I was never aloud to wear make up in my high school (but I naughtily did) so this is what I used to wear;
Primer: Smash Box Cosmetics Photo Finish Primer is something I feel very grateful for bein sent to review, it works great on my skin and doesn't feel oily or dry at all. I really do think that Smash Box Cosmetics Photo Finish Primer is one of the best primers I have ever used and I would recommend paying the £25.50 for it as it really does help.
BB Cream: I really prefer BB Creams to foundation when it comes to going to school as I don't like having full make up on my skin all day. Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream is great for this, it goes on smooth and smells lovely too.
Concealer: Rimmel London Wake Me Up Concealer and Highlighter is Rimmel London's first full coverage concealer with instant anti-fatigue effect and with peptides and vitamin moisturising complex. Visibly reawakens and illuminates under the eyes. Completely conceals spots and other blemishes. This stuff is so great!
Brows: Rimmel London Brow This Way is great for sculpting the perfect photo-ready, high impact brow. It has two easy steps which are apply wax to shape and fix, and layer powder to set. Rimmel London Brow This Way comes with pro brushes for precise application and has long lasting formula feels lightweight and comfortable all day long. I really do love this product!
Mascara: Benefit Get Bent False Lash Mascara has been discontinued which makes me so sad. Benefit Get Bent False Lash Mascara was like a push-up bra for your lashes. It was 'wonderlifting' with a specially angled brush that lifts, lengthens and curls lashes to perfection. The brush lifts every single lash and loads it with jet black, long-lasting mascara to keep them supported all day long.
Eye shadow: Bourjois Paris Smoky Eyes is contained in a modern and feminine compact case, are three hues of complementary intensity. At the back, professional make up artist tips will help you to achieve step by step a “classic smoky” or a “fashion smoky” eye look.Bourjois Paris Smoky Eyes is manufactured with the same process which has made Bourjois Pari's Little Round Pots famous since 1863, these eyeshadows possess the same qualities of flexibility and softness: an ultra fine, silky, micronised formula for an amazing blend, lasting eight hours. Bourjois Paris Smoky Eyes are ergonomic, with double-tipped applicator has been specially designed to outline your eyes according to your wishes. Bourjois Paris Smoky Eyes have six combinations of three shades are now available in store for a different smoky look everyday.
Lip balm: Lollipop Delicieuse is a lip balm which I got in one of my Glossy Box's. Lollipop Delicieuse is a colourless cream with sweet scent of vanilla, which repairs, protects and nourishes. This rich and creamy balm, brings a feeling of immediate comfort. Lollipop Delicieuse's formula is enriched with vegetable oils and tepescohuite, with soothing, emollient and restorative effects. Anti-oxidant vitamin E protects against damage from UV rays and pollution. Lollipop Delicieuse is also paraben free.
Lip gloss: 2True Plumptuous Clear Lip Gloss is great for smooth clear lips, it's a clear basic lip gloss that keeps your lips moisturised for hours; plus it's awesome priced at only £1.99!
I hope you all have a wonderful day and I hope you all have a great year if you are going to school, college or university.
With love, Alisha Valerie. x
