Hello my lovelies, happy Friday! I cannot before that it's the last day of the month, where did January go? I was tagged in The Blogger Recognition Award back in February 2018 and it's taken me ages to get around to doing it, so sorry, but here it finally is!
The award is recognition made by bloggers for bloggers. These awards are not so much in the traditional sense, but rather a way to show other bloggers support and appreciation. It’s also a nice way to get to know a bit more about some of the bloggers out there. So here are the rules for this award:
- You have to write a blog post thanking the person that nominated you.
- Explain your story on how and why you started blogging.
- Share two general pieces of advice to other bloggers.
- Nominate fifteen other bloggers and let them know you’ve nominated them too.

| My Story | My name is Alisha-Valerie, I'm a social media influencer from Liverpool, UK. I blog about lifestyle, cruelty-free beauty, vegan food, disability, health, and some fashion and craft DIYs. I started blogging as a hobby back when I was only twelve years old (over fifteen years old) because I was having my first ulcerative colitis flare up and wanted to communicate with the world as I was on bedrest for over six months, I also wanted to share my experiences and thoughts to the people on the internet who may be able to relate to me and be interested in the same things as I was/am. Nearly five years ago I was lucky enough to get a sponsorship and started blogging full-time, I've worked with some incredible brands and companies over this time, all which I am so grateful for. I'm currently under a new management and still blogging full-time.
| My Blogging Advice | Start a blog and keep at it. No-one is going to become a world-famous blogger overnight, so you need to put your heart and soul into what you do and really stick at it. Enjoy what you write about and share, and you'll find your own path in the blogging world.
