Favourite Face Product
Everyone know how much I love Rimmel London's Match Perfection Foundation and Concealer, but how many of you knew how much I loved their powder too? These three products are my everyday face makeup products I reach for on a daily basis and I recommend every one of them. When Barry M brought out their Flawless Chisel Cheeks Contour Kit I was a little on a fence but after using this all I can say is WOW! It really gives me great shape in my face.. another high recommend if you haven't tried it already.
Favourite Cheek Product
I've literally loved this blusher all year, it's from The Body Shop and although it's been out for years now I've loved it so much in 2015. Because I'm so pale it's hard sometimes to find a good blush that doesn't make me look like a clown and this one is just perfect. Topped with The Body Shop's bronzing pearls for a low contour look, it's just beautiful. Plus the high lighter in the blush is stunning! My second favourite high lighter of the year is the Undress Your Skin by Makeup Academy.
The brush in the picture I wanted to include as I bought this on Amazon as an add-on item and it's awesome. Although it's cheap made (as you can see the bottom is a little tired already) it's so soft and really works as a great cheek brush. I do highly recommend checking this out.
Favourite Eye Product
For mascara - I adore my Max Factor False Lash Effect Mascara so much, I was lucky enough to be sent this by Max Factor and Becky Sheeran as part of the Beauty at Tesco campaign. It really is my go-to mascara for any occasion. For eye liner - I couldn't pick just one! In my opinion Barry M are the best for eye liner, I love all of their eye liners, As you may be able to tell my favourite shade is black and I do actually sometimes use all of these on one make up look. The Barry M Wink Black Marker is perfect for the eye lid and cats eye look, the Barry M Kohl Pencil is perfect for my water line and the Barry M Bold Black Waterproof Gel Eyeliner is perfect for my under eye.
Favourite Lip Product
Of course I'm going to pick a Barry M product for my lips, I'm obsessed! Their new Matte Me Up's are so awesome, moisturising and beautiful on. The two lip sticks below were a present from Phil and have been surprising two of my favourites in the summer months. They are by Collection and they are two of their Volume Sensation lip sticks.
Favourite Skincare Product
Everyone knows how much of a massive fan I am of Garnier when it comes to skincare and of course they didn't disappoint with this Micellar Cleansing Water. I just wish they done some facial wipes in this stuff, I know they do the smaller bottles but I really love my facial wipes after a really long day. As for my favourite moisturiser this year it's had to be the Moo Goo Full Cream Moisturiser. I was lucky enough to be given this for free in my Liverpool Blog Event gift bag and I have really loved it. It's really made my skin feel great in the winter months.
Favourite Brow Product
This has been my favourite for getting my brows in shape and looking respectable this year. I highly recommend trying this out if you haven't done so already!
Favourite Eye Shadow
Nude eyes have been in all year and they really have been my favourite look too. These two palettes have been two of my favourites (next to the Urban Decay palettes but thats just a given) and they are so affordable for people on a budget as well. I've mainly used the Collection Eyes Uncovered palette for evening time and night time looks, and the W7 Naked Nudes day time looks.
Favourite Nail Polish
Of course, yet again, I picked Barry M. I wore the Hi-Shine Gelly Nails by Barry M on my nails nearly every day in July and August, and in these winter months I've been wearing the Silk Nail Paint by Barry M. I love the feeling of both of these on my nails for different reasons. The Gelly Nails makes my nails feel colourful and full, and the Silk Nails makes my nails feel.. well silky obviously, but romantic in a sense as well. I've loved them.
Favourite Hair Washing Product
The XHC Coconut Water shampoo has been my favourite this year. After dying my hair blonde and then orange it really made my hair go weak and my head so painful and red. This shampoo has really helped with this, I love the way it foams up in the shower as well. As for conditioner of course I'm going to pick one by Aussie. Their Miracle Shine Conditioner is one of the best ones I've ever used.
Favourite Hair Styling Product
L'Oreal Paris' elnett satin hair spray has been my savour this past year, I've loved it. Teamed up with the Parlor blow out spray which I received in a Glossy Box it's been perfect for styling my hair and making it feel and look pretty.
Favourite Body Product/Perfume
Dove original - what can I say about this that no one knows already? Nothing. That's basically the answer right?! Dove deodorant products are heaven to me, they're the only deodorant that I ever wear as I can't find a good deodorant that even compares to how good Dove is. My perfume for 2015 has to be Wonder Stuck by Taylor Swift. I love the smell of this and the bottle design is so pretty, I love it.
Favourite Clothing Piece
My grey coat. I've had this coat for years now and it's one of them coats that you get out in the winter time, it's all warm and cosy and I just love it. I've worn this coat so much this year as honestly we haven't had a summer time in England have we? Not really anyone. I got this coat from George at Asda around three or four years ago I think, and I'm pretty sure it was about £12. Bargain!
Favourite Accessory
My wedding ring and engagement ring! Easy answer for me really, but I do feel like it's cheating the question a little bit so I'm also going to say this beautiful butterfly inspired necklace which I picked up from All That Glam. I bought it to wear for my dad's 50th birthday party and I've worn it a lot every since. I just love the sparkles in this necklace and the way it falls when I wear it.
Favourite Pair of Shoes
Flats for sure, in particular black flats. I wear my black flats throughout the year, because they go with anything and can go casual or formal. I got these ones from Amazon.Com. I got this picture of them from Google Images as, you don't really wanna see a picture of my tatty shoes right?
Favourite Blogging Essential
These two beauty's have really helped me out and been my best friends when it comes to blogging and sorting out my notice board or my diary this year. I picked the sticky notes up from PoundStretcher for only £1 and the Staedtler pens are from Amazon.Com.
Favourite Book
I love Fleur De Force's book The Glam Guide, and since having both Fleur and Mike on snapchat it seems that Fleur may be bringing out a new book next year too. If you want to read my review on The Glam Guide you can do so by clicking here. Another book I've loved this year but haven't actually finished yet is Carrie Hope Fletcher's 'All I Know Now'. Both this books are amazing readers!
Favourite Game
Life is Strange. What can I say about this game that you don't already know? I've mentioned this game in a couple of blog posts in the past, (I think the most recent was my October Favourites) and it's just one of them games that you want to play over and over again. If you are a geek or a gamer please do check this game out and give it a lot because you really won't regret it! Other than Life is Strange, I've also been playing The Sims 2 on PC a lot this year. I'd completely addicted to The Sims 2 games and could spend hours and hours building houses on there.
Favourite Food
I don't think I've had a favourite food this year if I'm honest. As a lot of you already know I've been doing Slimming World for the past few months so if I had to pick I would say fruit as I've been eating a lot of it and it's keeping me healthy.
Favourite Beverage
I love my cups of tea and coffee all year 'round. During the winter months I've been loving vanilla lattes from McDonalds as well.
Favourite TV Show
Phil and me actually started watching Game of Thrones and we are now all caught up, it's an awesome programme and I would recommend giving it a go. I've also been loving Eastenders, The 100, Silent Witness, The Vampire Diaries, How To Get Away With Murder, The Following and Gotham.
Favourite Song
I don't actually have a favourite song at all this year. Although I do have a couple of favourite artists and a couple of good songs I've liked but not loved. Jut everyone else of course I've loved Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift and both of them have really blown up in 2015. The songs I've loved this year are; Perfect - One Direction, Adele - Hello and a cover song of Marvin Gaye by Freddy My Love on YouTube.
With love, Alisha Valerie. x
Omg I want to go back and play Life is Strange all over again! That game is hectic!
ReplyDeleteTegan xx - Permanent Procrastination
Oh my, that game is everything. I loved it so much! I really want them to bring another one out, maybe like a "after math" or something. I loved that game so much!
