Hello June | 2019

Hello my lovelies! I am in shock with how quickly May went, I really feel like it was over and done within the blink of an eye - crazy stuff. May was a pretty good month and I had a lot of fun so go grab a cup of hot chocolate, snuggle up and let's share what adventures I got up to with you all.

The beginning of May started off really wonderful for me, I was still in full positive and motivation vibes from April and I was doing really well with everything I put my mind to - I got so much blogging done and have so many collaborations for the next coming months up which I cannot wait to share with you all.

My husband, bestie and I went for a tasty meal at The Game Bird* on Liverpool's East Lancashire Road - it was wonderful and I would highly recommend visiting here if you're ever around the Liverpool/St Helens area. It also has a children's inside Wacky Warehouse or outdoor play area attached to the side of it so it's perfect for keeping children entertained.

The next day we all had a blogging press day out to Speke Hall* at the beginning of the month and although it wasn't the best for a wheelchair user, it was a lovely sunny day and the Tudor hour itself is so beautiful - I am happy that I went. We then went out for a meal at the Stag and Rainbow which was also lovely, it's not a lot that the three of us get to go out and do a lot anymore.
During the first Bank Holiday Weekend of May, it was my mum's birthday on May Day, aka Monday 6th May, and we had a really yummy vegan Chinese takeaway meal with the family. We had it at my home and my husband kindly put some birthday decorations up for my mum, which looked so pretty! It was great spending some time with the family for my mum's birthday and I can't thank Tasty House* enough for gifting and supplying us with so much yummy food!

The middle of June was very busy for me, not only did my parents celebrate their 22nd wedding anniversary (which I pretty much sorted out), I was working with ITV* a lot and getting out of bed at 5am during the week to tweet about their morning shows. Even though I've been having really long, long days they have been great and have really helped me be more positive and motivated.

May ended on a bit of a high. Although I'd been to a hospital appointment for a Dexa Scan, everything finally seems to be going well with my health, blogging and life in general and I couldn't be happier right now! I'm so thankful for it all!

I'm looking forward to June starting as I have a lot planned and lots to celebrate. I really cannot wait to share a full month of adventures with you all. Do you have any plans for June? How was your month of May? Did you get up to anything exciting? Please let me know by leaving me a comment below. Wishing everyone a really wonderful, positive month full of love and happiness!

With love, Alisha Valerie. x
