Hello November | 2019

AD | Hello my lovelies, I hope you're all having an amazing Friday! Can you believe that there are only two more months until a new start to a new year? I always love this time of year, as in my family we have always had so much to celebrate: Halloween, Guy Farks Night, Thanksgiving, Christmas and then a New Year.

The beginning of October was really good, my husband and I had a little night away in Blackpool with Travelodge* to see the illuminations, they were just like I remember them being as a little girl which made it feel so magical for me and it was Phil's first time ever seeing the lights as he never went when he was a little boy so it was special to share that first moment with him - you can read more about our stay in my upcoming article about our stay at Travelodge South Shore*.

The middle of October was so great. I got so much social media work done and we even managed to finish our Christmas shopping which made me so happy - no Christmas stress for us this year! Also, and most importantly, I got the best news from the hospital to tell me that my Ulcerative Colitis is finally in full remission and I'm doing so well - I am so happy!! We've spent a lot of time doing our home up which has made me super happy too, I couldn't ask for anything better right now.

Just before the end of October, I caught a rotten cold and was stuck in bed for three days not feeling too great - thankfully it was all cleared up by the end of October so I was back to normal to celebrate Halloween. October ended on a great high for me, I'm super excited to be starting a new month on a high with lots of plans ahead of me to celebrate.

How was your October? Did you get up to anything exciting? What did you think of my month? Let me know your thoughts and views by leaving me a comment below. Wishing everyone so much luck, love and happiness for November!

With love, Alisha Valerie. x

  17. What a nice October you had! And I'm so happy you're feeling better! Hurray! That's makes October seem even better! And I'm glad you're cold went away so you could enjoy the Halloween festivities! I'm so jealous you're already done with your Christmas shopping. But then, I guess even if I'm starting now, I'm still doing a lot better than the people who wait until right before Christmas!
