The 2019 Glasgow Vegan Winter Festival will take place at Glasgow Trades Hall right in the heart of Glasgow City Centre on Saturday 23nd and Sunday 24th November 2019 from 10.30am - 4.30pm each day.
This unique Winter Festival features over 50 fantastic stalls offering a wide variety of festive vegan produce, including Christmas cakes, mince pies and chocolate. There’s also make-up, shampoo bars and bath bombs ranges, such as iUVO Skincare, clothing from Viva la Vegan and Wear Your Voice, plus lots of fun ethical gift ideas.

Local Glasgow stallholders include Izen Juice, Lucie Bradley Medical Herbalist and Two Birds. Other Scottish exhibitors include South Lanarkshire’s Baby Blue Bee Bunnies and Iguana Chocolate from South Lanarkshire, Dumfries & Galloway’s All Natural Me and The Kitchen Witch, Fallen Tree Coffee from Blair Drummond near Stirling, and Trodden Black from Dollar, Clackmannanshire. Further local stallholders include Friends of the Earth Scotland, Go Vegan Scotland, Scotland Against Greyhound Abuse, Edinburgh’s The Sly Fox, The Herbivore Kitchen and Mimi’s Bakehouse, Perthshire’s Clantastic, Angus’s The Black Cat Soap House and Aberdeen’s Surya Luna Naturals.
Hot takeaway food includes delicious dishes from Greek Vegan Deli, Honest Edibles, The Sly Fox and VDogs. There will also be free Bute Island Sheese samples to enjoy, plus food stalls including Tyne Cheese, Free From Italy, The Green Guerrilla and Almighty Foods. There will also be all day informative talks and exciting cookery demos to inspire. And in the true Christmas spirit, the festival also helps local homeless people, whilst also helping to reduce food waste. Stallholders are asked to donate any surplus food at the end of the festival, and a group of volunteers distributes it to homeless people after the event, providing a hot meal as well as cold dishes.

Entry is from just £3 (under 16’s free) and this includes entry to all areas and activities. Standard tickets are purchased at the door on the day.
