Pain-Less by Anne Wilson | Book Review

AD | Hello my lovelies! I was recently kindly sent a copy of this book and wanted to share my review of it for you all today. Pain-Less: Living with Pain, Finding Joy* is written by Anne Welsh and is all about how she was finally diagnosed with Sickle Cell Disease (SCD) and how she is living with it from day-to-day whilst still maintaining a positive life and mindset.

Learn how to live life with a positive mindset with Anne Welsh's Pain-Free book.

Anne Welsh has lived with chronic pain all her life. As a sufferer of sickle cell disease, she is no stranger to the everyday struggles and mental anguish that can come from living with an invisible illness. Like so many who suffer from painful and life-changing conditions, Anne has battled with depression – times when she believed that she could never lead a normal and happy life. But thanks to the support of many people along the way, she has discovered that life can still be wonderful, no matter what your challenges are.

In Pain-Less, Anne talks about these struggles and the lessons she has learned and gives advice that she hopes will help not only others in a similar situation, but also their families and loved ones. For Anne and many like her, pain is an inevitable part of daily life, but that doesn’t mean you can’t fulfil your dreams – whatever they may be.

I personally really enjoyed getting to know Anne through reading this book and finding more out about Sickle Cell Disease, although I had heard about it briefly in the past I wasn't aware of how much it can affect day to day life. I love that Anne has written this book to raise awareness and help people understand more, I'm sending her all of my love. You can buy Pain-Less: Living with Pain, Finding Joy by Anne Welsh* from £7.99 on Amazon*.

With love, Alisha Valerie. x
