Everyday Winter Makeup | November 2019

AD | Hello my lovelies, happy Monday! Hope you are all having a wonderful start to your week. The winter months are fast approaching us and I wanted to share what makeup and beauty products I am loving right now and what I have been reaching for when I do my makeup.

| NYX HD Photogenic "Porcelain" Concealer Wand * | This lightweight cover-up obscures imperfections, discolouration and under-eye circles without looking cakey or obvious. Little wonder the HD Photogenic Concealer Wand is one of NYX's best-sellers. The concentrated emollient-rich formula goes on like a dream and creates medium to heavy coverage, use the lavender for sallow skin, the green to help reduce the appearance of redness and the yellow for under-eye darkness. This is all I have been using for ages and I am still loving it for my dark eye circles and redness by my nose.

| Revolution Makeup "Blush Goddess" Palette | I received this as a gift in a magazine during the summer months and I am still loving it! The pigmentation of colours and sparkle really goes with my pale "snow white" like skin and makes me look like I've got a bit of life in me - I love it.

| Barry M Cosmetics "Natural Glow 2" Eyeshadow Palette * | Natural Glow 2 is the eagerly anticipated sequel to Barry M’s bestselling ‘Natural Glow’ Eyeshadow and Blush Palette, and a perfect extension to their best-selling palette range! Introducing new, warm golden shades that are perfect for classic understated looks and which compliment all skin tones. The ‘travel easy’ pack also includes an eyeshadow primer to ensure your powder stays put, day and night - perfect for anyone on the go.

| Primark PS. Skinny Fine Tip "Black" Eyeliner Pen | I love that Primark does cruelty-free affordable makeup so much! I've found that these fine tip eye liner pens are easy to put on, full of colour and are just so affordable. If you haven't tried them already then you really need to add one or two to your basket next time you are in Primark!

| Barry M Cosmetics "Showgirl" Extra Volumising Mascara * | Let Barry M ‘Showgirl’ Extra Volumising Mascara give you real BIG impact lashes! With a curvaceous, spiral-wand, Showgirl Volumising Mascara is designed to enhance and magnify the shape and dimension of your lashes for a look that’s beautifully larger than life. This has been my favourite mascara for such a long time and I still love it so much for big full lashes.

| E.L.F. Cosmetics "Smoochy Spice" Lip Kiss Balm | This beautifully tinted lip balm helps create baby soft lips so you can always be kissable! Each colour provides a sheer tint of coverage for a lovely and luscious lip effect and is infused with vitamins A and E, Grape Seed Oil, and Jojoba Oil to help nourish, protect, and moisturize lips which is great for these winter months. The silky-smooth formula glides on lips for lasting comfort while the minty flavour keeps lips feeling fresh and the colours in the range are just so gorgeous.

What are your thoughts on these products? Have you tried any of them? Let me know by leaving me a comment below? Wishing you all a wonderful day!

With love, Alisha Valerie. x

  19. Thanks for the advice! I might have to try the concealer wand. I prefer to have my blemishes covered up, but I definitely hate that cakey look that stands out more because I don’t wear that much make up!
