24 Hours in Lowton | Travelodge

AD | Hello my lovelies! A couple of weeks back my husband and I were invited to go and stay the night at the beautiful Travelodge Hotel* in Lowton to review one of their rooms, if you've been reading my articles this year then you'll know already that we have stayed in quite a few of the Travelodge Hotel's* during the year and we have to say by far this was our favourite hotel to stay at, and here's why...

Travelodge's Lowton hotel* is conveniently located between the bustling towns of Warrington and Wigan. Enjoy the food at the Miller & Carter Restaurant, or head to nearby Pennington Flash park for some of the area's best birdwatching. Enjoy some great days out in the local area, whether it's white-knuckle thrills at Gulliver's World theme park, a spot of culture at the Warrington Museum & Art Gallery, or a visit to the lovely grounds and zoo of Walton Hall - it's perfect for singles, couples and families and is even pet friendly!

This hotel has upgraded rooms that feature a comfy king size bed with four plump pillows and a cosy duvet where guests can enjoy a variety of food and drink choices within easy walking distance from this hotel.

We loved, loved, loved our room!! The hotel has so many quirky little features that no other of the Travelodge's we have stayed in have: we had an actual key to open our hotel room door instead of a plastic swipe key card, there was a massive sized bath in our room which we took full advantage off having a hot bath ourselves, the room itself was big and bright, the bed was so comfortable and smelt so wonderful of fresh linen and the little  heater in the corner heated our room up really quickly in the freezing cold morning when we woke up the next day.

The whole hotel was beautiful, clean and smelling super fresh and looking so beautiful, you would think it had just been cleaned the moment that you walked into the room. All of the staff were so friendly, helpful and welcoming - we even met the manager who was so beautiful and had such a wonderful helpful happy personality, you can really tell that she puts her whole heart and soul into wanting to please everyone in the hotel, guests and staff alike. I really cannot recommend the hotel enough, so amazing! We already know that we want to return soon for another night.

We decide to take a little drive into Eccleston where we used to live and had our breakfast at The Game Bird Pub and Restaurant which was so tasty! I can't recommend this pub and restaurant enough, not only do they have fantastic good and drinks that are always so yummy but they have a big indoor Wacky Warehouse on-site and a free outdoor play area for children to enjoy.

We finished the little trip by spending a bit of time at Taylor Park in St Helens which is my favourite place in the world, I have mentioned this beautiful place on my website in the past in my Our Day Out and my Summer Walk posts.

Have you ever thought about staying in a Travelodge* hotel? Have you ever been to Lewton? Have you ever tried the menu at The Grapes Hotel in St Helens? Have you ever visited Taylor Park? Let me know your views and thoughts by sending me a tweet - wishing everyone such a wonderful day!

With love, Alisha Valerie. x
