Five Things I Want To Do Once The Coronavirus Lockdown Is Over

AD | Hello my lovelies, happy Monday!! It seems to me that the horrible coronavirus lockdown has got everyone feeling so many things, making plans for future events and living in the moment. But I wanted to take a moment and share with you five of the things I'm really looking forward to doing once this vile coronavirus and lockdown is all over with.

| Put Flowers on My Nan's Grave | The one thing that has really got to me during this lockdown is not being able to go to my Grandparents graves and put flowers on them. My Nan only passed away two years ago so it all still feels so fresh to me, and not being able to go to where she is laid to rest has broken me a little. It's my Nan's birthday in June so I'm really hoping that I'll be able to go then, fingers crossed.

| Visit Some Family | Although modern technology is a wonderful thing for keeping in touch with family and video calling, there is nothing better than popping into someone's home and having a cup of tea and a proper catch-up. I really cannot wait to be able to do this again with some family members! If you follow me on my social media pages then you'll know that my mum works for the NHS and she has been doing twelve-hour shifts with only two days off every twelve days in the local hospital caring for people so I cannot wait to go and see her once the lockdown is over and it's safe to do so again.

| Go On An Actual Date With My Husband | Phil and me have been having little dates when we can do so at home, mainly movie nights watching things on Netflix*, to be honest, so I'm excited to be able to actually go outside and have a proper date in a restaurant or at the seaside with my husband.

| Feed To Ducks | There are two places in this world that I feel so calm, relaxed and content, Taylors Park in St Helens and Hesketh Park in Southport, both paces have big ponds with so much wildlife and of course ducks. There is something so calming to me about sitting by a pond feeding the ducks and just letting the world go by for a little while with no problems, worries or negative thoughts. (Remember, you can't feed bread to ducks anymore, it has to be birdseed otherwise it can be super harmful to them!)

| Go For Coffee With The Girls | I'm more than sure that we are all missing our friends loads, and would adore to go and give them a hug or sit in a beer garden getting drunk cafe having a cup of tea and giggles. I really cannot wait to be able to do this with the gorgeous ladies from Sweet Serenities*, Jess and Hannah.

What things are you looking forward to do once this horrible virus is all over with? I'd love to know your views and thoughts so please let me know by leaving me a little comment of love below? Sending you all so much love for a wonderful day x

With love, Alisha Valerie. x

  1. I cannot wait to go out with my husband on an actual date. The last time we went out together was our anniversary at the end of February.

  16. This is a lovely idea to write down a list of things you've got to look forward to after this is all over. I would also have visiting family on my list, I live about an hour away via a train from all of my family so it will be lovely to see them in person rather than on a video call!

  20. Great ideas, it's nice to think about the positives about how nice it's going to be when we can do things rather than the negativity that we can't do them now. I'm really looking forward to the most basic things like being able to go out and run some errands, visit my grandparents and going for a coffee with some friends x
