Things You Should Stop Expecting From Others

AD | Hello my lovelies, happy Wednesday, I hope that you all are having a wonderful week so far! Have you ever heard of the quote "stop swimming over oceans for people who wouldn't even jump in a puddle for you"? It's one of my favourites. Sometimes we all expect so much from other people because a lot of the time we would do more for others than they would do for us, and sometimes this can have a massive effect on our own mental health so with the help of Mind* I wanted to share with you some of the things that we all should stop expecting from others.

 x | Stop expecting people to... live based on your own standards.

 x | Stop expecting people to... agree on everything you think/feel.

 x | Stop expecting people to... be perfect.

 x | Stop expecting people to... read your mind.

 x | Stop expecting people to... understand you.

 x | Stop expecting people to... always have your back.

 x | Stop expecting people to... turn up on time.

 x | Stop expecting people to... look after you.

 x | Stop expecting people to... always support you.

 x | Stop expecting people to... treat you how you treat them.

 x | Stop expecting people to... always be around.

 x | Stop expecting people to... love you if you don't love yourself.

 x | Stop expecting people to... respect you.

 x | Stop expecting people to... be loyal.

 x | Stop expecting people to... be the same person that they were a year ago.
