My Daily Blogging Routine in Coronavirus Lockdown | 2020

AD | Hello my lovelies, happy Monday, I hope that you have all had a wonderful weekend and an amazing start to your week! Back in January, I shared a post all about My Morning Routine and after posting that article I got tons of questions about My Blogging Routine whist in this horribe coronavirus lockdown and was asked to share about how I manage my website, keep it running and keep it scheduled up to four months in advance...

In My Morning Routine post, I used to stop at 10.25am as that's when I start My Blogging Routine for the day - however, now that This Morning starts at the new time of 10am my routine has changed slightly...

| 9.00am | Every morning at this time I have a meeting with my management. We basically just talk about everything that I need to get done that day, brand/company opportunities that I may want to consider working with, upcoming article and social media ideas, what is coming up on the morning ITV shows, etc.

| 9.15am | Once my meeting with my management is over, it's time to me to start replying to some of my new emails (I usually do my more important emails of a morning, example: hospital emails, etc), comments and messages and I usually try and take some time to then return all comments which have been left on my website overnight too.

| 10.00am | I start doing social media work for This Morning on ITV: I basically watch the show, tweet and Instagram highlight about things that are on the show, and basically, just try to keep the conversations going online. (That's the easy and simple way of describing what I do, lol.)

| 12.30pm | Once This Morning is over, Loose Women starts and I starting that on ITV. I basically do exactly the same as I do with This Morning but for Loose Women instead.

| 1.30pm | Break time for me: during my "break" I have some lunch and then start prepping our evening meal.

| 2.30pm | I'm back on my laptop and I'm ready to reply to all emails or messages, then I start drafting, finishing and starting to write some upcoming articles, I start scheduling tweets, I do all of my admin stuff around this time.

| 4.30pm | And it's finish time for the day. I turn my laptop off, write my to-do list for tomorrow and then enjoy my evening before starting all over again tomorrow morning.

If you'd like to know more about what I do before 9am on a weekday morning then check out my article all about My Morning Routine or if you'd like to ready about how I have the Perfect Morning every day or want some advice on How To Be A Morning Person like me then make sure you check out all of my previous articles. I'd love to know your views and thoughts so please leave me a little comment of love below and let me know? Sending you all so much love for a wonderful day x

With love, Alisha Valerie. x

  8. It sounds like you've figured out a great routine that fits your needs! Mine hasn't changed too much with the lockdown - I'm still working from home and my husband is still going to work, but I've been taking on some more cooking/baking as I'm staying home in the evenings now. That means we're not in a rush so we can enjoy more homemade meals.

  9. I really like the way you manage time. That has been a challenge for me as I am working from home. But I take some ideas from here.

  12. It's great that you have a schedule to stick to! Most of my work starts in the afternoon as I'm a bit of a night owl...

  13. It's always interesting seeing what other peoples daily routines are like! Must be quite cool working for ITV. I feel like I don't have much of a routine, my work shifts change so I can't get used to a set time of when I start and finish work so that makes it a little bit more tricky to have a routine!

  17. Personally, I struggle with establishing my daily routine. I'm just doing everything as the day goes and I don't know if it serves me that well

  21. I love the sound of your day. Mine starts in a similar way - check what needs doing that day, reply to a few emails and make a plan for my morning. Then it varies depending on whether I have recipes to prep/ photograph or whether I'm having a more admin based day but I need to be better at actually switching off by a certain time of day x

  26. I am still working full time from home so my day is mostly taken up with that. I blog all weekend usually which I don't mind but when it's sunny I try to take big screen breaks!
